Why Book Clubs Matter More Than Ever

In a world that often feels rushed, noisy, and divided, I think many of us are quietly searching for the same thing:
connection.

Not necessarily large crowds or constant activity.
Just meaningful conversation.
Shared stories.
A feeling of being understood.

That may be one reason book clubs continue to matter so much.

A book club is rarely only about the book itself. The stories become starting points for deeper conversations — about friendship, loss, hope, healing, spirituality, animals, family, or the paths our lives have taken.

When I wrote The Mystical Sanctuary, I hoped readers would connect with the characters and the gentle themes woven throughout the story:
compassion for animals, lifelong friendship, second chances, intuition, and the small mysterious moments that sometimes nudge us forward.

Since the book was released, I’ve been touched by the thoughtful messages readers have shared with me. Some connect with the tarot symbolism. Others relate to grief and reinvention later in life. Some simply enjoy the comforting atmosphere of the sanctuary itself.

Because of this, I recently created a free Book Club Discussion Guide for anyone interested in exploring the story more deeply with friends, family, or fellow readers.

The guide includes discussion questions, themes from the novel, and reflections about friendship, compassion, healing, and personal growth.

Whether you belong to a formal book club or simply enjoy meaningful conversations over coffee or wine with friends, I hope the guide offers a gentle starting point.

You can find it by clicking the button below.

And as always, thank you for being part of this journey with me. It means more than I can say.
